Beschreibung

Am 11. Dezember 2024 fanden die Aufnahmen für eine Pilotfolge von „Freiheit, Recht und Einigkeit“ statt. Für diesen Podcast suchen Carolin Wirth und Sascha Kölzow das Gespräch mit Museen und Archiven. Ausgewählte Objekte aus der jeweiligen Sammlung bilden den Anlass und liefern das diskursive „Futter“, über Kernbegriffe unserer Demokratie zu reden.

Im Haus der Geschichte des Ruhrgebiets ließen die Objekte zu uns sprechen: Dr. Philipp Müller (Leiter des Archivs, 1.v.r.), Holger Heith (Archivar, 2.v.r.), Dr. Caner Tekin (forscht an der Ruhr Universität zur Geschichte türkischer Einwandererorganisationen, 3.v.r.) und Alicia Gorny (promoviert an der Ruhr Universität zu weiblicher Gewerkschaftsarbeit, 4.v.r.).

Die Erzählungen der und über die Objekte inspirieren und fundieren ein Gespräch über die Verfasstheit der Demokratie heute. Als Pilotfolge erscheint hier demnächst unser als Podcast dokumentierter Besuch im Archiv im Haus der Geschichte des Ruhrgebiets in Bochum.
