Beschreibung

Das Archiv im Haus der Geschichte des Ruhrgebiets, getragen von der Stiftung Geschichte des Ruhrgebiets (SGR) und 1998 gegründet, hat nicht nur den Auftrag, das gesamte Ruhrgebiet betreffende Zeugnisse, insbesondere in Bezug auf dessen Strukturwandel, zu bewahren. Ein besondere Schwerpunkt liegt auf gewerkschaftlichen Archivalien, v.a. aus Beständen der früheren Industriegewerkschaft Bergbau und Energie.
Hier, im Haus der Geschichte des Ruhrgebiets, durften wir im Austausch mit Archivleiter Philipp Müller, Archivar Holger Heith und anderen Freiheitsbegriffe in der Historie der Arbeiter*innenbewegung im Ruhrgebiet erforschen.
